Alphabet

Sign Language is system of communication that uses manual communication (signs) and body language to convey meaning, it is used by deaf people to communicate with each other. Sign language is not universal as is commonly believed. There are many forms of sign language that are used around the world but only a few have attained legal recognition. One of the most popular would be ASL (American Sign Language).

When doing sign language the user combines hand shapes, orientation and movement of hands, arms and body as well as facial expressions to express their thoughts. Sign language is as rich and complex as spoken language the the difference is that it is non verebal.

It is important when learning any language to start with the basics. One of the first things thought in any language is the Alphabet, I hope you have as much fun learning this as i did. It feel weird at first but as you practice it becomes it lot easier. this gave me a new found respect for deaf people who carry on long conversations, they make it look so easy.
